Competitive Rates With No Surprises
Our rates are very competitive with, and
in many instances less than the industry standard. Our monthly rates
include almost everything, unlike other communities that charge
a la carte fees for services. Our community fee is also one of the
lowest in the area.

There is a one-time community fee of $2,800 for
all new residents to cover additional administrative costs, evaluation
and reference checking, the initial Individual Service Plan, and
move in assistance.
* This fee will be reduced to $2,300 if the
Residence and Service Agreement is signed within 21 days of initial
deposit.
The first and last month’s service
fee is payable at the signing of the Residence and Service Agreement.
Resident Service Agreement Termination Policy:
Unlike other assisted living facilities,
Longwood Place only requires 30 days notice to terminate a Resident
Service Agreement. At many other facilities, you could be required
to provide 60-day notice, thereby exposing you and your loved ones
to additional financial responsibilities.
*Longwood Place provides 18 affordable assisted
living units. Residents who qualify for an affordable assisted living
apartment pay at a substantially reduced rate from market levels.
The affordable apartment rent is based upon state and federal guidelines,
and assisted living services are optional, and the community fee
is optional. Longwood Place offers services at a reduced rate, or
residents may coordinate and arrange for alternate services, as
necessary. Residents admitted to an affordable assisted living apartment
may also receive, if they qualify, subsidy payments for assisted
living services through the Group Adult Foster Care Program of the
Massachusetts Division of Medical Assistance. Eligibility for an
affordable unit is based upon income and assets, and residents may
not have an annual income greater than 50% of area median income.
Eligibility for the Group Adult Foster Care Program is based upon
income, assets, and also clinical needs for assistance (supported
by a physician’s written diagnoses). All interested applicants
are required to complete a separate application and verify their
sources of income. Due to the limited number of available affordable
units, the waiting list is currently estimated at 2 to 3 years.
